I went down to have some snack.
Instead of going to the company’s cafeteria, I decided to go out of the building.
A few meters ahead, there is a local store. I brought some roasted peanuts and a banana.
The place got a nice environment — trees, grasses — and so I decided to walk around and found a spot to sit and eat.
I enjoyed the view, in fact, after the snack, I grabbed my sketchbook and draw what’s in front of me.
As I do my sketch, a foreigner came and saw me sketching.
He asked if he could take pictures of me while I sketch. So I agreed.
And the camera keeps on clicking.
He said “just don’t mind me.” And he continued shooting with his camera.
After that, he ask if he could see my other sketches.
I showed him my previous work, like my travel sketch in Bantayan Island.
I asked him if he’s new in the city. He replied he’s been here for a month already, and he’s enjoying it.
After a few chit-chat, he asked if he could take pictures again because some of it are blurry.
I said it’s okay.
I continued my sketch, and the camera keeps on clicking. He’s moving around me, shooting in different angle — side, top, back.
It was a nice experience.
