I’ve been a fan of ramen ever since I started working. And believe me it has nothing to do with Naruto who loves to eat ramen 😉
Ramen here in Cebu is expensive. (Or at least expensive in proportion to what I earn.)
And most of the time, cheaper ramen mostly equate to low quality ramen.
Oh let me correct that. I don’t even know what “quality” ramen is.
Rephrased: Cheaper ramen mostly equate to something my taste buds won’t like.
There is a ramen here in Cebu that cost 99 pesos, and so far, fits to my taste.
Disclaimer to ramen-lovers out there, this might not be true to everybody. But for me, it’s good to be considered as budget-ramen.
Store name is Kimbob, a Korean-themed restaurant.
You can find it in SM Mabolo, Cebu. Inside Food Court, situated near the stage just beside Sbarro.
They offer many Korean-like foods, but it is their ramen that I ordered most of the time.
The ramen they offer can be spicy or mild. I choose spicy.
Just give it a try. But don’t expect it to be in the same caliber as a 300-500 pesos ramen category.
