I notice this guy walking on the streets of Cebu Business Park.
He is already old, more than 70-80 years old, I guess.
He always wear long sleeves while carrying an attache case.
He walks slowly on the street.
I always took pity on senor citizens like him.
Watching him along the street made me ask myself:
- Why is he still working at that age?
- What’s his work?
- What motivates him to work?
Maybe he is an insurance agent. I don’t know the full story. And all I have are curiosities and pity because normally he should have been retired already. Relaxing and enjoying life. (Or maybe he is enjoying life now?) I don’t know, but may God bless him.
I ate breakfast one day, and I saw him near my table.
I sketched him quick before he leaves.
He is reading a newspaper. The attache case is on the chair, covered from my line of sight.
In front of him is a huge sack. I don’t know what’s inside but it must be a burden carrying that thing considering his age.
