And Urban Sketchers Cebu is doing their sketchwalk somewhere north.
I can’t join because……priorities.
Weekend is bonding time.
We are in the open parking area.
Staying and relaxing for one hour.
This gives me a small window of opportunity to sketch.
While they’re doing their sketchwalk, I am also sketching in parallel.
Open parking area means a wide view of the store in front of me.
With the car’s hood as my table, I began sketching.
We’re only staying here for around one hour, so I have to hurry.
Not to mention the sky’s getting darker and it might rain soon.
This is my sketch.
This is SM, one of the giant stores here in Cebu.
Located in Mabolo Cebu, Philippines.
Shown in my sketch is the North Wing part of the store.
The spiral structure is a circling path way towards the parking area.
The blue building is the parking area.
All of those structures are connected to each other.
The cylindrical-shaped yellow tower are just windows.
The blue structure in the middle is a guard house.
They will inspect the cars going in.
Next to the guard house (the triangular-ish thing) is a bus terminal.
The bus travels to different branches of SM.
A few guys are looking at my back as I do my sketch.
Good thing there’s a wire mesh that separates us. (The parking area has a wire mesh on its perimeter.)
The moment I let the watercolor dry, it started to rain.
I immediately grab my sketchbook first and put it inside the car.
I grabbed other materials after my sketchbook. This is because……priorities.
