Today I bought a new mechanical pencil.
Although I have an existing one, but was thinking of buying a standard mechanical pencil.
My current mechanical pencil is a short one — around 3.75 inches.
I realize recently that I need a longer pen to satisfy my needs. (Sounds dirty.)
Been sketching a lot this year, and the usage of mechanical pencil rises exponentially.
And as a reward to myself, I bought a new one.
Bought in National Bookstore in Ayala, Cebu, the sales lady gave me a cylinder container full of mech pencils.
I take my time on choosing (and testing).
It is the Rotring mechanical pencil that catches my attention.
Mainly because it feels good when I press the top cap to eject the lead. (Darn, I sound dirty again.)
The hard feeling of the mechanical push, and the tactile response is what I like in this pen.
Bought this for 167.75 pesos. Lead size is 0.5. (0.75 and 1.0 are also available)
I heard from my German friend that Rotring means Red Circle or Red Dot.
I also notice that my other stuffs are also Rotring brand. Here’s the growing Rotring family.
When you see it.
